Art & Autism
Our "Art & Autism" program provides an opportunity for those with ASD, regardless of where they are on the spectrum, to participate in the therapeutic and recreational benefits of art while in an inclusive and welcoming setting. Led by local artist and educator, Dana George, children will learn about the 7 elements of art and will engage in projects related to each element. Each week, participants will take home their very own creation.
In fall 2018, we are pleased to offer 2 sessions of this program. Click below for program details as well as registration and payment information.
The "emerging" art program is for those age 6 and up who may require more support and may not yet be completely independent. A parent/caregiver must remain with their child and participate as necessary.
The "established" art program is for teens and adults 14 and up who are completely independent in their daily activities and can follow instructions/read without support. Participants may be dropped off.
