Autism Insurance Reform in Michigan
ASGGC members are working with other autism organizations and families in Michigan to support Autism Insurance Reform in our state. Seventeen states have already passed some type of legislation to have certain autism related expenses (such as diagnosis/evaluation, speech, occupational and behavioral therapies) covered by health insurance companies. There are eight more states (including Michigan) that have insurance legislation pending.
